It’s Your World

Meta

A modular motion system that could flex across diverse creator worlds.

Context

Meta's "It's Your World" campaign celebrated the idea that no two creators are alike. With every creator bringing their own aesthetic, audience, and visual language, there was a growing need for a motion system that could connect diverse creator worlds through a shared set of behaviors while preserving the individuality that made each one unique.

Outcome

To support a campaign built on individuality, we developed a motion system and toolkit that could flex across a wide range of creator worlds. Modular components, shared behaviors, and implementation guidance created the structure needed for creative freedom, allowing each world to feel unique while remaining connected to a larger motion universe.

Motion System & Process

Creating a campaign around individuality required a different kind of motion system. Every creator brought their own aesthetic, pacing, and visual language, making discovery and creative development essential to understanding what behaviors could remain shared across every creator world.

Through extensive exploration, we established a modular motion framework built around common behaviors rather than common visuals. The result was a system capable of supporting diverse creator worlds while preserving a consistent motion language across the campaign.
With the shared behaviors established, they became the blueprint behind every creator world. Rather than defining individual executions, the framework provided a modular structure that could be adapted endlessly without losing connection to the broader motion system.

Every creator experience began from the same foundation, allowing the campaign to scale naturally as new stories, personalities, and aesthetics were introduced.
The system expanded into a comprehensive library of motion components built to support every layer of the campaign. Platform-specific UI, containers, transitions, creator objects, emojis, and supporting assets were all developed as part of a single modular framework, giving teams the flexibility to build while remaining connected to the same motion language.

Documented through comprehensive guidelines, the system became a shared reference point for production teams, ensuring every new creator world extended the campaign rather than starting over.
